International MBA programs represent a distinctive trait of Alma Graduate School as well as some of its most successful projects in the recent years. These programs are designed to enrich participants with everyday exposure to global perspectives, as well as to bring overseas students and professors to Alma Graduate School to foster mutual growth and deepen the knowledge of foreign languages.
International Master of Business Administration programs at Alma Graduate School encourage and accompany the internationalization of businesses and the school already has a strong track record of supporting the local business community in its international endeavors.
In 2008 the school launched its first international program, the UniCredit MBA, Retail in the Banking and Financial Industry. 70% of the participants of the 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 editions consist of foreign students, especially from the Central and Eastern European region, but also from India, Turkey, Mexico and Singapore. The program offers a unique opportunity to blend theory with experience and provides students with a high quality mix of analytical and problem-solving skills required to succeed in the retail sector.
In 2009 Alma Graduate School launched its second international program, the MBA Design, Fashion and Luxury Goods. More than half of the first class of the program is made of overseas students from the United States, India, Russia, Australia and Venezuela. The goal of this MBA program is to enable participants to pursue a successful career in the design, fashion, wine & food, and luxury goods sector by acquiring traditional management skills, becoming closely acquainted with these businesses, and meeting and working together with top managers of the sector.
International MBA programs at Alma Graduate School can count both on the Italian faculty, most of which has significant overseas experience, as well as on a broader international network of visiting professors coming from prestigious business schools all over the world.
International MBA programs are designed for participants with qualified work experience and good academic standing wishing to build their future on solid basis and to pursue a successful international career. The language of instruction of the international programs at Alma Graduate School is English, therefore participants should possess adequate competence in the language.
