Business Education at the University of Bologna
The MBA of Alma Graduate School is
a one-year full-time
international program taught entirely in English and is
divided into six different concentrations: Retail in the Banking and
Financial Industry, Design, Fashion and Luxury Goods, Green Energy,
Food and Wine, Brazil-Europe Business Relations, and Global
Industrial Enterprises. At the end of the successful completion of
the MBA participants are awarded a Master's Degree by the University
of Bologna.
This MBA represents
a unique and privileged opportunity to
access the world of retail banking, luxury goods, fashion,
automotive, food & wine, international business, and
sustainability. Since 1088, people have come from all around
the world to study in Bologna, the oldest university of the Western
world and now home to many leading companies (the Emilia Romagna
region is also well known as "food valley" and "motor valley").
Creating employability is one of the primary goals of the program
and therefore
interaction between theory and practice is an
essential part of the curriculum: master lectures, testimonials,
analysis of business cases, and in-company visits will take place
throughout the year and will go side by side the core academic
courses. The program also includes a
400-hour internship scheduled
in the last period of the program, representing a unique opportunity
to analyze real company problems, develop strategies, and elaborate
action plans together with upper level managers of many successful companies, such as UniCredit, Ferrari, Ferretti, Bulgari, Sergio Rossi, Max Mara and many more.
Alma's
