Don't miss the most important event of the year in Alma's life: on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June the Graduation and Alumni Reunion 2013 will take place and we look forward to seeing all of you there. It will be an opportunity to celebrate new graduates and meet old friends. Register here by Tuesday 25th June at 1 pm.

The School

Alma Graduate School was founded in 2000 (formerly Almaweb), as a Consortium between Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna, and Fondazione Guglielmo Marconi. Since then it has constructed a project in which knowledge and experiences coming from different worlds could merge, with an inter-disciplinary perspective that represents its distinctive trait.

After a period of rapid growth of the organization, in May 2006, Alma merged with PROFINGEST MANAGEMENT SCHOOL, a school founded in 1985 on an impulse of the region's outstanding financial institutions. Profingest's dowry was twenty plus years experience in management education, a systematic connection to the region's primary financial institutions, a solid organization and an important alumni network. Today ALMA GRADUATE SCHOOL is one of the leading post-graduate schools in our Country and is determined on establishing a strong position within the European scenario.

Faculty members come from the four Alma Mater Studiorum departments: the Department of Communication Disciplines, the Department of Electronics, Computer Technology and Engineering, The Department of Corporate Sciences, and the Department of Information Sciences. Furthermore, the faculty also comprises academic staff from other disciplines and other universities which, together with renowned consultants and managers, are constantly involved in the programs, establishing a high level scientific and cultural environment.

Master participants reap the benefits of this innovative approach: they have the opportunity of integrating different formats and tools in their post-graduate education program to develop the required expertise and learn to act effectively in complex situations.

Alma Graduate School facilities are in Villa Guastavillani, 4000 square meters located on the hills surrounding Bologna at less than ten minutes from the city center where history, tradition and technology coexist in a breathtakingly beautiful natural setting.
The interior design project by Massimo Iosa Ghini enabled to redesign these antique spaces, destined today to high level education; computers, labs, classrooms, the aula magna and the entire range of technology equipment are state of the art and kept constantly up to date. The villa's park, fully covered by a protected wireless network, completes this campuses context, where the most talented can leverage dedicated spaces and comfortable facilities that promote learning processes.

ALMA GRADUATE SCHOOL AND PROFINGEST have merged to form a new class of innovation oriented managers capable of making decisions and focused on an international market scenario: drivers of change to the production system and society.
